  Kenneth Tai
  Co-Founder, General Partner, and Chairman of InveStar Capital.

Mr. Tai is a well-known 30-year veteran in high-tech industry and venture investment community. Prior founding InveStar, a venture capital firm focusing on semiconductors, communications and networking, and Internet infrastructure companies, Mr. Tai served various senior executive positions, including Vice-Chairman of UMAX USA (1993-1995). Previously, he was one of the co-founders of the Acer Group, and held various positions including VP of Sales & Marketing Worldwide and then President of Acer Group. Mr. Tai received a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from of Hsinchu Chiao Tung University. He currently serves as Chairman of Chiao-Tung University Alumni Association in America (CTUAAA).

  Max Wu
  Managing Partner at InveStar Capital.

Before joining InveStar, Mr. Wu has held various positions during his 20 plus-year career at Acer Group and was President of Acer America from 1993 to 2000. While working for Acer, Mr. Wu had accumulated an extensive experience in research and development engineering, market development, customer service and technical support, global procurement, and general management. Mr. Wu was a graduate from Hsinchu Chiao Tung University with a major in Electrical Engineering. He has served as President of CTUAA of North California in 2000-2001.

  Dr. Paul Huang
  CEO and Chairman, ForteMedia

Prior joining ForteMedia in 2000, Mr. Huang was CEO and Chairman of Novas Software. Before Novas, he was Executive VP of Quickturn Design systems, and President of PiE Design, a company he co-founded in 1990. Previously, Mr. Huang was Executive VP of Research and Development at Cadence. A recognized EDA industry leader, Mr. Huang currently serves as a director of several EDA companies. He received his BS degree from Hsinchu Chiao Tung University with major in Electrophysics.

  Jeff Lin
  General Manager of Proton Management

Prior starting Proton, a venture and management company for hi-tech investment, Mr. Lin was founder, CEO and Chairman of Asante Technologies, a network equipment manufacturer, and successfully went IPO in 1993. Mr. Lin has served as the board director of numerous companies, including public and private. A prestigious pioneer in the high-tech industry, Mr. Lin has received many honors for his contributions to the communities, such as Best California Entrepreneur and Best American Minority Manufacturer. Jeff was a graduate of Hsinchu Chiao Tung University with BS degree in Electronic Engineering. He currently serves as President of CTUAAA.

  Dr. Hong Chen
  Founder, President and CEO of GRIC Communications

Dr. Hong Chen, Founder, President and CEO of GRIC Communications which he led its successful IPO in 1999. Prior to GRIC, he was Founder, President and CEO of Aimnet, a successful Northern California Internet service provider that was acquired by Verio in 1997, which was sold to NTT in 2000 for $5.6 billion. As a highly respected new economy leader in the Asia Pacific community, Dr. Chen has received numerous awards, which including the honorary professorship at Xian Jiaotong University, where Dr. graduated.

  Peter C. Chen
  President and CEO of Silicon Data

Prior to starting Silicon Data in early 2001, Mr. Chen was Founder, President and CEO of PCTEL, which successfully completed IPO in 1999. Mr. Chen built PCTEL from the ground up to a US$100 million public company averaging over 50% CAGR. Before PCTEL, Mr. Chen was co-founder and VP of Engineering for Digicom Systems from 1987 to 1994. Mr. Chen received his BS degree in Control Engineering from Hsinchu Chiao Tung University.

  Gwong Yih Lee
  Senior Director of Global Solutions at Cisco Systems

Prior to Cisco Systems, Mr. Lee was founder and Chairman/CEO of TransMedia Communications. TransMedia was selected as "Best of Breed" startup by the industry's top venture capitalists and was acquired by Cisco in 1999. Prior to founding TransMedia, Mr. Lee was Founder, President and CEO of Digicom Systems till it was acquired by Creative Technology in 1994. A distinguished entrepreneur, leader and visionary, Mr. Lee has received many achievement awards, including the Outstanding Alumni Award from Hsinchu Chiao Tung University, where he held a BS degree in Control Engineering.
